Apple Genius

I confess. I didn’t use Google for research. There are no facts to be checked here. It is a story. Is Google a reliable source for facts? Again. This is not a philosophical discussion, not a game to trick you, not an op-ed for the New York Times. It is a story.

There was an original apple. I had to correct the autocorrect three times to make the word “apple” not “Apple”. I am typing on an iPhone. The original apple fell on Newton. Gravity thus revealed. Curiously, was Adam and Eve sharing an apple? Or was it some other fruit?

Anyhow, one apple changed things. Science marched on and we landed on the moon. I believe that. Steve Jobs came along and got his Apple. Human interactions reimagined and human attention altered and commonditized. Remember, we are the apple of God’s eye.

Where is this story going? Somewhere, I am certain. Please have some faith in me. I know what I am doing. I believe that. Has anyone pondered the role apples plays in human history? Google might have answers.

Newton went mad as he got closer to the end of his life. Or history has determined to remember that he was indeed mad. He tried to calculate the end of time, the 2nd coming of Christ. He had an answer. 2060. If math works, we are about 39 years away. But Newton was mad. We don’t need to trust him. And this is a story.

Now, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I get to eat 39 times 365 plus 9 apples until Christ comes back. The extra 9 apples are from leap years. Thank you Julius Caesar.

Is the original apple a genius or not?

The end.

Now, your turn, any thoughts? I care to know.
