For the highest good

By | January 22, 2024

Morning friends,

Did you catch a sunrise today? I managed to get out of the bed around 5am and went for a brief jog in a nearby park. I am staying at an Airbnb in Brooklyn. What I love most about this Airbnb is that the space doesn’t have TVs and my host is nice. There is a tiny rooftop to watch sunrise and sunsets.

I want to say NYC is my city. Still, many other places I want to explore. I finished my Level I and Level II Reiki training this weekend. I can now give Reiki to myself and to others.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. I can give Reiki to anything. That’s what my teacher said. It’s only limited by my imagination. So, I am giving Reiki to my words, thoughts and actions. I want Reiki to flow in everything I do.

The teacher suggests that I start with giving myself Reiki for 21 days and see how it goes. Reiki can be woowoo for some people. And some physicians send their patience to Reiki practioners for integrated healing treatments.
Whatever camp you are in, it is okay. For me, Reiki is another way to connect to Love – the highest good. The highest good will take care of everything. You and I just need to play our parts well with the purest intention possible.

Another reason that I love Reiki is that it doesn’t deplete my energy since I am not the source of the energy. I am a conduit. More to practice and learn. If you are into Reiki and have books to recommend, please let me know.

Nothing else is new besides absolutely nothing could me happier right now. May you feel loved, safe and well.

Oh, go watch a sunrise and a sunset. Put yourself on the side of what’s beautiful, true and good.

Talk soon,
Xiaoyu

Now, your turn, any thoughts? I care to know.
