How do I disappear into a glass of water?
The same way you disappear into the forest.

You are the maple tree leaf that has reached the end of its life.
Your youthful skin has faded into warm orangey brown.
You are forgetting how to hug this very branch you love deeply.
You yearn for release.
Earth is calling you home.
You cannot wait to dissolve into

You have lived.
Spring breeze caressed your face and made you giggle.
Summer rain kissed you and you heard your own whistle.
You think about the birds who pooped all over you,
the secrets exchanged with the night sky,
You think about the warm embrace from the rising sun,
the laughing lightening saying hi…
You are ready.
The gentle fall wind visits
You look up and

My little eggie egg sandwich
You make my tiny tummy sings in Irish
A touch of salt tastes lavish
I love you dearly it sounds childish
I wish you could taste my above average
