The elephant that lives in Room 503 went to the building manager to complain. He is not a pink elephant, just grey. He calls himself a regular elephant. He has lived in this building for 18 years.
The building manager is on the 2nd floor. Mr. elephant took the elevator down. There was a strange looking young lady who was already in the elevator. Mr. elephant has never met her before. He has met everyone in the building. He politely nodded to the young lady, she him. The elevator door closed.
Mr. elephant thought about starting a conversation but he didn’t. The 2nd floor light lit up. That’s his chance to get out. He nodded to the strange young lady again and slowly moved out of the elevator.
Mr. elephant went directly to Jim’s office. Jim is the building manager and he lives in Room 306. Mr. elephant told Jim about the loud youth moving at 8 am this morning. Jim apologized. Mr. elephant stressed that he didn’t see moving notifications on the bulletin board. Had he seen the youth were to move this morning, he would have gone to sleep last night with his noise canceling headphones on. Jim apologized again. He poured Mr. elephant some coffee and reassured him that moving notifications will be prompt next time.
Mr. elephant nodded. Before he left, he asked Jim about the strange looking young lady. A stranger has come into the building. What’s she doing here?
Jim assured Mr. elephant that she was a guest with a guest key card.
Mr. elephant believes that he is a great neighbor. The deaf man living downstairs of him, agrees.
