Blue Steel

By | September 14, 2020

A blue steel
Wrecked by the ocean weaves
Lost at sea
Carrying a ship of
Unconscious sailors
Aiming at shore

In their linked dream
Kids are calling
Daddy
Look at my castle
Daddy! Look!
A tiny hand pulling

Women gently caress
Their coarse hair
Over and over
A soft moan
A kiss on the neck
A nibble on the ear

The sailors grew blue feathers and ivory wings
As the thunder strikes
A flock of big blues birds shrieking
Across the stormy sea
Leaving the blue steel unconscious
Aiming
Aiming
And Aiming

I have been having dreams, lots of them. I wake up exhausted with tightly curled toes. A ship keeps showing up. I don’t know where it wants to take me. Will you set sail with me?

Now, your turn, any thoughts? I care to know.
