The TV was on. She was sitting by the coffee table playing with her phone. If you asked her what was on her phone, she would not be able to answer. Something stopped her. She lifted her head up and saw a lion cub playing with her mother on the TV screen. She turned the volume up.
“The lonesome cub recruits his mother to play with him because he doesn’t have any siblings.” She saw the cub throws his body against the lioness over and over again. She felt a wave of chills down her spine.
That’s all she’s been doing her life – recruiting for playmates. Play with me. Just be here next to me. Do not leave me. Let’s play.
She doesn’t understand why people leave and stop playing. Shouldn’t you want to be with your loved ones most of the time and play together? Why would you leave when you love them? Why would you waste time doing other things when you can love and play?
This still baffles her. Of course, there are bills to pay. Adult responsibilities. But why can’t you bring playing and loving to responsibilities?! She wishes more people does this so that she could have playmates always.
